Happy Monday, learning friends!
It's hard to believe that June is already here!
The year might be winding down, but we still have a lot of learning left to do.
Here's what we were up to this morning:
In Math, we continue to work with proper fractions and mixed numbers. We are learning different methods of how to convert one form to another. Below are links to three videos that we used as teaching tools in class and that we can re-watch if we are still unsure about certain concepts.
MATH ANTICS - MIXED NUMBERS
LES NOMBRES FRACTIONNAIRES
MIXED NUMBERS AND IMPROPER FRACTIONS
Playing this Math game can also help:
Fresh Baked Fractions
In Science, we continue to look at the 4 four forces of flight. We have already learned about lift (la portance) and gravity (la pesanteur) and will continue exploring the remaining two forces in class tomorrow.
Today in Français we finished our evaluations for our Reader's Theatre groups and had some additional work time to complete our reading comprehension, Céline Dion... quelle chanteuse "amour"veilleuse that we started in class on Friday. While some of us were able to finish in class or over the noon hour today, many of us have opted to take our work home with us to finish this evening. Please note that the reading comprehension assignments are due back, completed, TOMORROW. (Thank you for your support with this, families!)
