Happy Thursday, everyone!
Today in Science, we worked together in groups to determine whether air has a mass.
Using 2L pop bottles, air pumps, and an electronic scale we measured the mass of the pop bottle before and then again (and again) in 25-air-pump increments until we reached a total of 225 pumps of air.
In comparing the mass at 0 pumps of air and then again at 225 pumps of air we can determine whether or not air has a mass. We will continue investigating this topic as we continue our Air and Flight unit of study.
