Happy Monday, everyone!
This morning in Math we worked in randomized groups so calculate how many times a clock "Bonnnngs" in one day (and then one week and then one year and then ten years...), if it chimes the time on the hour, every hour. We all came up with different strategies to add and multiply the numbers together, even when asked to multiply two 3-digit numbers together! Great work!
In Science, we continued working through the steps of how to draw a graph, using the data push-up we collected on Friday. Working in groups, one student per group was asked to see how many push-ups they could do in 1 minute while the other group members counted and logged their progress after every 10 seconds. We used this data to practice the steps of how to draw a graph, including how to know what variables to place on which axe and how to change and write a scale for each axe. (And, for the record, we have some pretty strong students among us)!
Finally, in Français, we took time for our daily reading and to do some verb work. We are reviewing the verbs "Avoid" and "Etre" in the present tense as conjugation errors with these two verbs are still quite common in our writing. We are hoping by reviewing and practicing the conjugations that the transfer to our writing will be more consistent.
