Happy Wednesday, everyone!
January has flown by and we are working hard and learning so much every day!
In Math this morning we completed our mental math assessment for the "Thinking with Money" strategy. We then worked on a worksheet to help us practice and review single-step and two-step geometric transformations.
In Science, we looked at different examples of scientific experiments and how we can determine the independent and dependant variables in a scientific test. The independent variable is what we control and what is set in place before the experiment is completed. The dependant variable is what we measure during the experiment - the "results variable." We will continue looking at examples and applications before applying these concepts to our Tomatosphere results.
In Français we had a work period for CFOO #7 - On recherche. We also took some time out for reading and learning how to properly conjugate the verb "Aller." The fun never stops in Room 208! :)
