Happy Summer!

It's 9:00am and the halls are quiet. I'm still surprised at how quickly this year has flown by.

As I look around my semi-boxed-up, ready-for-summer-cleaning classroom, it astounds me to think how much learning and growing we did this year together as a team. Through ups and downs, we set goals, celebrated successes, worked hard, had fun, learned and shared some hard lessons, collaborated with our peers, 
shared lots of laughs, set new standards for ourselves, set out on field trip adventures and 
truly grew into our roles as great Knights.

And, because this blog was created for and truly belongs to you, the students, I am signing off by letting your words share what this year has meant to you. Wishing you all the most wonderful summer!

I really enjoyed all the friends I made and people I met. All the great teachers (including Mme Careen) that were teaching me all the new things and I learned a lot. - Aidan I.

At lunch, at the very beginning of the year, there was a yearbook sign-up, and there were 3 girls from our class, then me. We needed a partner. So one out of the three friends decided to go with me. That's how I met my best friend. - Jaeda

My favourite memory in homeroom was when we learned different strategies in Math, I loved doing that because I like to learn different strategies to solve Math problems. - Cameron

My personal favourite time in Room 208 with Mme Careen was when we were doing our Bernoulli studies, because, when we did a project that required a very critical mind to figure out how it works. - Brady

I will really miss the decorations of this beautiful classroom. Also, one thing I can never forget about this school year is the extra-terrestrial project and presenting those pictures and clay figures. - Lucius

I really loved Mme Careen and the kids as well and learning new things like "rapports, simplifie les fractions, etc..." and I LOVED the field trips! I love being in 6F4. - Alexis

With Mme Careen, you'll NEVER know what she has in-store for you. From reader's theatres to airplay making contests, marshmallow challenges to epic snacks and parties, Mme Careen is one of the best teachers you'll ever have. - Van

The best memory of mine in Mme Careen's class is when we had a paper cup with water then we put a straw in it and held a straw over that straw, then we blew into the straw and water went everywhere. - Tayla

I really liked when we measured the Hindenburg outside in the field, even if it was SUPER hot outside. - Fallon
