Happy Tuesday, learning friends!
We had a great morning of learning together!
In Mathé, we worked at the whiteboard in groups to represent different sets of ratios involving shoes, animals,
cats and dogs. Many of us were able to work through all of the questions and then had a chance to create our own ratio drawing for Mme Careen, Mme McKenzie and Mme Page to figure out!
We were very creative (and tricky!) with our ratio drawings!
In Français, we continue to read our mini-roman Zamboni and, in today's chapters, learned quite a bit about the narrator and his father. We also did some word work, studying the expressions: "avoir la tête dans les nuages"
and "avoir l'air de."
We finished the morning with Science and reviewed the main content for our Science assessment about the properties of fluids. Mme Careen asked us different questions that just may be on the assessment tomorrow and we were able to answer them all! We have worked hard learning all about fluids in class and we are confident that we will all do well on our assessment tomorrow! :)
* Please note: I will be away at a Professional Development session for the remainder of the week (Wed-Fri).
I am confident that all students will be respectful and helpful to their guest teacher and will continue to work hard to be on task and accomplish the tasks that have been planned for them.
I will still be checking my email and will update our blog with any new agenda items at the end of the week.
Merci! Je vous souhaite une très bonne semaine, les élèves! :)
