Hello 208 friends!
We had a great morning of learning today!
We started our day with Français and were happy to have Mme Galka with us!
Today, for our daily reading time, we read with our table partner.
Next, in our mini-journals, we were asked to share (write) our opinion about "Whether boys and girls should have separate classes at school." Before our writing time began, we brain-stormed sentence starters that would help us clearly structure our opinion in our writing response.
In Mathé, we continue to review different mental math strategies and are finishing up our work on
"les transformations géométriques."
In Science, we used the iPads to continue our research on two different arthropods. For our research, we can choose any two arthropods we would like and then, using a list of websites given to us by Mme Careen, we need to find the answers to a set of characteristics, including : life cycle, diet, movement and habitat. We also need to include an explanation of why our chosen example is an arthropod.
