Hello everyone!
Here's a quick look at what we were up to in Math today in 208!
In Math, we were putting our adding skills to work by adding up the total of different grocery items. Upon entering the class, we each had a different selection of food items waiting for us at our spots. Then, working in randomized groups, we first estimated each of our totals and then calculated the actual costs of our 'meal.' Working in groups allowed us to talk about our estimation and adding strategies and share any ideas and Math shortcuts we had!

Agenda items:
1. Good copies of our "La paix" poems due Friday.
(We will have 2 more periods of work time to get them completed between now and Friday).
2. December assembly - tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.
3. Lockdown practice - tomorrow morning
4. "Cannes pour une cause" - Candy Cane Candy-Grams will be on sale Wednesday-Friday this week at 11:50-12:15 near the Casse-croûte. Each candy-gram is $1, with proceeds going to the Christmas Cheerboard.
