We had a busy first day at school and had a great time getting to know each other this morning! The time flew by as we: practiced our handshakes, attended our first school-wide assembly, practiced lining up for both the bus and a fire drill and took a tour of the school. Phew!
We also celebrated International Literacy Day by listening to Mme Careen read us two of her favourite picture books: Pat le Chat J'adore aller à l'école and Hungry Bird.
We ended our morning together by taking our first day of school class picture; one of Mme Careen's favourite first day of school traditions! :)
